Happy Sinks | Magnetic Dishcloth Holder and Sponge Holder

Clever design for the sink

The sink is the most used spot in the house, and usually the messiest too. Happy Sinks makes kitchen accessories for it that keep things out of sight: a dishcloth that hangs inside the basin instead of over the tap, a sponge that drains instead of sitting in a puddle.

From Magisso to Happy Sinks

The products used to belong to the Finnish brand Magisso. Since 2020 they have sat with Happy Sinks, which works out of Helsinki. So if you are searching for the old name, you have come to the right place.

The best-known designs

The best-known design is the magnetic dishcloth holder: a bar that hangs inside the sink, held by a magnet on the outside of the wall. There is also a sponge holder that does the same for your sponge or washing-up brush, a wine glass holder that fixes glasses in the dishwasher, and a roll-up mat you lay across the basin for extra worktop.

Will it fit your sink?

The magnet needs steel: on sinks of steel and stainless steel it holds, and on composite up to a wall thickness of about 3 millimetres. Not sure? Hold a fridge magnet against the outside of your sink — if it sticks, the holder will work too.

About Happy Sinks

Happy Sinks works out of Helsinki and focuses on a single place in the house: the sink. Its design follows the Scandinavian preference for simplicity and calm, and the products are made to last. The plastic parts are biocomposite: natural fibres with plastic.
