A wall lamp with no wiring point

Hanging a wall lamp usually means there has to be a wiring point in the wall. If there is not, the lamp ends up not where you want it but where the electrician once put it. The Flying Dutchman solves that with a simple idea.

The heron holds the cable

The heron hangs on the wall with the lamp's cable in its beak. The shade hangs below. The cable simply runs down to a socket or an extension lead, so there is no wiring to install and no electrician to call.

That makes it right for places where a wall lamp normally cannot go: beside the bed, in a rented flat, or simply wherever you like the look of it.
