Brands
How we choose our brands
At DesignMarket.today you will find many different brands. From large international names such as Remember, Sompex and Lexon, to small independent design studios such as Dooie Mus, Kuperus & Gardenier and Bernard & Eddy. Every brand we carry has been chosen with care, with the design itself as the starting point: functional, often raising a smile, and of course well made.
German functional design
From Germany come brands that combine engineering with humour. Take2-Design makes the Clack egg topper, Relaxound the Zwitscherbox with birdsong, and Brainstream the egg timer that sings along. Braun stands for the clean line that made the German design tradition famous.
Dutch design
Dutch Design has earned a firm place in the international design world. It is known for its conceptual character, its independent streak and its humour. From our own country we carry Vij5, House of Thol, Buro Berger and Royal Delft, which has been making Delft blue porcelain since 1653.
Scandinavia, Italy and Japan
From Sweden comes Printworks, from Italy the handmade glass of Ichendorf Milano, and from Japan the storage system of Yamazaki.
