The bulb is the design

Most light sources disappear behind a shade or a glass globe. These are a design in their own right. Screw one into a plain fitting and the bulb becomes the lamp. Switching it on gives an almost magical effect.

Every bulb has a standard E27 fitting, so it goes into any ordinary lamp.

A bent filament

The LED filament bulbs by Sompex have a filament bent into a shape or a word. There is a flamingo, a deer, a skull, a heart — and bulbs with the word Love or Dream written in glowing letters. A fine gift for a housewarming. With the lamp off you can see the shape of the filament; switch it on and the shape truly comes to life.

A lamp made from a real egg

The Egglamp is a light source made from a real eggshell. The light falls softly through it, and because every shell is different, no two are the same. It has an E27 fitting as well.
