Design for your hallway and entrance

Your hallway is the first thing you see when you come home. Make sure you feel at home straight away and find calm the moment you step inside. With the right interior accessories, your hallway gets the atmosphere it deserves: a coat rack that hangs on the wall like an object, a key cabinet that keeps your keys in their place, and a doormat that sets the tone. That way this room too takes on the character of your Interior.

Coat racks and wall hooks with a shape of their own

A good coat rack is not only functional, but also an eye-catcher in your hallway. The Coatrack by the Meter by designer Maarten Baptist for design label Vij5 is a beautifully basic design, inspired by the Shakers in America. Lovely as a single rack, but with the connectors you can also join different lengths together and run the rack along the entire wall, at varying heights if you like. From the same label comes the Alf wall hook, in finishes such as natural oak and walnut. The carved groove lets you hang five clothes hooks in very little space.
Or go for the Flying Hooks by Goods. These floating hooks hang from the ceiling, making your coats appear to hover in mid-air. For the children's room and the playful hallway there are the wooden hooks by Wildlife Garden in the shape of wild animals such as an elephant, a giraffe and a tiger.

Keys and small things in their place

Most of the clutter in a hallway is caused by small items lying around. The Japanese brand Yamazaki has a practical and stylish solution for exactly this kind of problem, such as key cabinets and key racks that also hold your post and double as a magnetic board. Kabinet van Look does the same with the magnetic cubes Traktor in various types of wood and Monolyth in marble: perfect for your keys in the hallway, or for a good kitchen knife or a pair of scissors in the kitchen. The Swell Catchall by Heller, designed by Anna Dawson, combines a hook and a storage tray in one.
