Sompex Rechargeable Lamps

About Sompex

Sompex is a German manufacturer of design lighting. The designs are often minimalist, and the brand was a trendsetter in rechargeable LED lighting: lamps with a built-in battery that you put down where there is no socket nearby. They are made for homes as well as for the hospitality trade.

Lamps without a cord

Sompex lamps run on a built-in battery and are usually continuously dimmable, with a touch dimmer. On many models you also choose the colour of the light, from a warm 2200 K to a neutral 3000 K. The housing is splash-proof, so you can take them out to the terrace or the balcony and bring them back inside afterwards.

The models

The best known is the Troll, a table lamp with a pleated shade. The Top turns an empty wine bottle into a lamp, with light in various colours. The Tubo and the Ronda are the cleanest lines: both with a rotating lamp head that turns a full 360 degrees, and both available as a table lamp and as a floor lamp, including with two lamp heads side by side.
