Your Sonnenglas comes with a 1-year warranty as standard. You can extend this warranty to two years free of charge within two months of purchase by registering it online. This is easily done using the serial number on the white sticker under your lantern. In addition to the extra warranty, this also gives you the certainty that your Sonnenglas is a unique handmade item. And it entitles you to full support, even after the warranty has expired.

Warranty
All technical components of your Sonnenglas will be exchanged within the warranty. After the warranty expires, you can use the full support and the Upgrade program.
Full support
The glass and metal parts of Sonnenglas last for decades. To prevent the lanterns from ending up in electronic waste after a long life, Sonnenglas also ensures an upgrade of the solar panel after the warranty has expired. The smart product design allows the electronic components to be easily replaced.
When the electronics in the Sonnenglas are approaching the end of their lifespan, or have become obsolete due to technical developments, the solar module can be returned. This will be rewarded with a discount of €5 on the purchase of a new solar module. This new module can be re-registered for a 2-year warranty. The old module is reused. Or recycled in the right way if reuse is no longer possible. This way, with Sonnenglas you have a lamp for life, where the ecological footprint is limited as much as possible!
