Blue Herring Royal Delft | Flower Bed | Delftware

Blue Herring is an ode to the Dutch traditions of herring and Delft Blue. It is a design by the Dutch designer duo Chris Koens and Ramon Middelkoop for the Royal Delft earthenware factory. The result is a beautiful eye-catcher for your wall. With the included wall mount and instructions, you can easily hang it on the wall. Thanks to the rubber cap, which fits precisely into the hole at the back, you can easily clamp and hang the Blue Herring straight.

Flower Bed

Blue Herring is available in 6 different variations, each with its own beautiful Delft Blue decoration. Mesdag's Fleet shows a typical Dutch landscape with ships sailing on the water, inspired by the landscape paintings of Hendrik Willem Mesdag. Combine it with one or more Blue Herrings from the collection, such as Mesdag's Fleet, Dragonfly Flower, Flower Scales, Art Deco, and Peacock Scales.

About Royal Delft

Royal Delft is also known as Porceleyne Fles. This earthenware factory has been creating high-quality Delft Blue products since 1653. It is the only remaining 17^th-century earthenware factory in Delft that still produces traditionally hand-painted porcelain.
The artisanal painting is still central, but over time, various techniques have been added. For example, the transfer process is widely used, where an image is printed on the ceramic using a screen print. This creates a high-quality product that is more affordable than the hand-painted collection.
