The Bottle Candle Holder Cognac is a design by Peter van de Water for the Dutch Design label Goods. The design refers to the silhouette of an empty bottle. And to something we've all done: using an empty bottle as a candle holder. Three different types of bottles served as the starting point for this design: a wine bottle, a cognac bottle, and a rosé bottle. This creates a stylish and airy candle holder. A surprising design that simultaneously evokes recognition and a smile.
The Bottle Candle Holder is made of 4mm thick steel, finished with black silk-matte lacquer. The edges inside the candle holder ensure that the candle stays firmly and straight in the holder. The Bottle candle holder is available individually. But together, of course, they also form a beautiful set. It comes in a beautiful gift box, including one black candle.

About Peter van de Water
Peter van de Water graduated in 1994 from the St. Joost art academy in Breda in architectural design. After this, he founded his own design studio. His designs are based on a strong idea or concept and are characterized by their simplicity. This leads to recognizable and iconic designs, where aesthetics, function, and construction are central.
About Goods
Goods is a Dutch brand with a prominent collection of interior accessories, furniture, and design items. Goods was founded in 1995 and symbolizes Dutch Design. Over time, the collection has expanded in collaboration with Dutch designers, gaining international recognition or being acknowledged as young and emerging talent. The Goods collection is now sold worldwide, and Goods products can be found in international museums, such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Design Museum in Iceland.
We aim to deliver your order quickly. Orders placed on weekdays before 4 PM will be shipped the same day, unless otherwise stated. Sometimes delivery may be delayed, for example if a product is out of stock. In that case, we will inform you as soon as possible and you can cancel if you wish.
Within the Netherlands, shipping is free from €49,-, otherwise it costs €4,95. Returns cost €3,95. In Belgium and Germany, shipping is free from €69,-, otherwise it costs €4,95, and returns cost €4,95.
Returns within the Netherlands cost €3.95. You can cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason via the email from our shipping partner Sendcloud. This email contains a link to the return portal, where you can create a return label.
After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product at a PostNL point. You will receive the full order amount back, excluding any shipping costs to the customer. The product must be returned with all accessories and, if possible, in its original condition and packaging. We will refund the amount within 14 days of receiving the return shipment. For other European countries, a return fee applies, calculated via the Sendcloud link.
