Braun Travel Alarm Clock Analog BC05 | White

The Braun BC05 is a classic analog travel alarm clock with a light and compact design. The lid, which allows you to close the alarm clock, is equipped with a world time zone map on the inside.

Classic design

The design is based on the Braun AB 314, an iconic design by Dietrich Lubs from the late 80s. The new version has been improved with a silent and precise movement, luminous hands, and a crescendo alarm with a snooze function.
The sleek and simple dial and contrasting hands provide great readability. The light can be activated manually and stays on for 5 seconds. An ideal alarm clock for home or travel!

Braun and Dieter Rams

Braun's design is inextricably linked with Dieter Rams, who was Braun's head of design for 40 years. He is considered the most influential designer of the 20^th century. Many of his designs are classics. He was also one of the first designers who strived to produce environmentally friendly designs. He believed that "design can and must continue to contribute to the protection and preservation of the environment."
His design philosophy is best expressed in his most famous statement: “Less but better.” This applies to both the clear design and his pursuit of a world with fewer, but better products.
