Braun BC13 is a Digital Weather Station and Alarm Clock with many additional functions. For example, it is radio-controlled and equipped with an outdoor sensor, so that the weather station displays the temperature and humidity for both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor sensor itself also indicates the temperature. The display on the weather station also has a Weather Forecast indicator. This weather station is completely designed in the Bauhaus tradition of Braun.
The Braun BC13 has a positive LCD display with a continuous backlight function. The light turns on automatically in a dark environment to increase readability. This function can also be turned off, so that the light can be turned on for 10 seconds with the button on the top. It is also equipped with a crescendo alarm, snooze function and a 12/24 hour mode.

The DCF signal from the atomic clock in Frankfurt provides the correct time 4 times a day. The radio control function is suitable for countries with the Central European time zone within a radius of 1,500 km around Frankfurt: this includes the countries of the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Denmark, Switzerland and Northern Italy. The radio control function can also be switched off for use in countries where this signal cannot be received, and the clock can be set manually.
