Braun and Dieter Rams

Braun's design is inextricably linked to Dieter Rams, who was Braun's head of design for 40 years. He is considered the most influential designer of the 20^th century. Many of his designs are classics. He was also one of the first designers who strived to produce environmentally friendly designs. He believed that "design can and should continue to make its contribution to the protection and preservation of the environment."
His design philosophy is best expressed in his most famous saying: "Less but better." This applies both to the clear design and to his pursuit of a world with fewer, but better products.
