The Braun BC10-DCF is a practical and stylish digital alarm clock with many extra functions. It is radio-controlled and displays the time, temperature (in °C or °F), date and alarm time. It is also equipped with a snooze function and a 12/24 hour mode and crescendo alarm. The design is entirely in the Bauhaus tradition of Braun.
The BC10-DCF has an LCD screen with permanent backlight, which switches on automatically in a dark environment by means of a light sensor. This automatic function can also be switched off and the backlight switched on for 10 seconds with the touch button on the top. When the lighting is off, this alarm clock has a negative LCD screen.

The DCF signal from the atomic clock in Frankfurt provides the correct time 4 times a day. The radio control function is suitable for countries with the Central European time zone within a radius of 1,500 km around Frankfurt: this includes the countries of the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Denmark, Switzerland and Northern Italy. The radio control function can also be switched off for use in countries where this signal cannot be received, and the clock can be set manually.
