Braun Alarm Clock BC22 Analogue | White

The Braun BC22 is an analog alarm clock with a unique design, based on a 1984 design by Dieter Rams. It features many functions, such as continuous backlighting, which subtly illuminates the dial. The lighting is automatically activated by a light sensor when it gets dark. You can also turn this function off and have the light stay on for 5 seconds by pressing the button on the top. Furthermore, it has luminous hands, a snooze function, a crescendo alarm, and a silent and accurate Quartz movement. The green indicator on the front shows whether the alarm is activated.

Classic design

This classic analog alarm clock is closely inspired by the AB 2 Clock: a design by Dieter Rams from 1984. The clean, simplistic dial combined with contrasting hands ensures easy readability. The iconic yellow second hand is synonymous with Braun's award-winning design history.

Braun and Dieter Rams

Braun's design is inextricably linked to Dieter Rams, who was head of design at Braun for 40 years. He is considered the most influential designer of the 20^th century. Many of his designs are classics. He was also one of the first designers who strived to produce environmentally friendly designs. He believed that "design can and must continue to contribute to the protection and preservation of the environment."
His philosophy on design is best expressed in his most famous statement: “Less but better”. This applies both to the clear design and to his pursuit of a world with fewer, but better products.

Within the Netherlands, shipping is free from €49,-, otherwise it costs €4,95. Returns cost €3,95. In Belgium and Germany, shipping is free from €69,-, otherwise it costs €4,95, and returns cost €4,95.

Returns within the Netherlands cost €3.95. You can cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason via the email from our shipping partner Sendcloud. This email contains a link to the return portal, where you can create a return label.
After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product at a PostNL point. You will receive the full order amount back, excluding any shipping costs to the customer. The product must be returned with all accessories and, if possible, in its original condition and packaging. We will refund the amount within 14 days of receiving the return shipment. For other European countries, a return fee applies, calculated via the Sendcloud link.
