Braun Alarm Clock Digital BC16 | Black

The Braun BC16 is a digital alarm clock with an ultra-slim profile. Its sleek design is perfectly in line with Braun's design tradition. The BC16 features a Vertical Alignment (VA) LCD screen, making it easy to read from any angle. The screen is also energy-efficient. The brightness of the screen can be adjusted to 3 settings.
Characteristic of this alarm clock is also the snooze function. The entire top of the alarm clock serves as a touch button for the snooze function. No more searching for the button when you wake up! It is also equipped with a crescendo alarm.

Braun and Dieter Rams

Braun's design is inextricably linked with Dieter Rams, who was Braun's head of design for 40 years. He is considered the most influential designer of the 20^th century. Many of his designs are classics. He was also one of the first designers who strived to produce environmentally friendly designs. He believed that "design can and should continue to contribute to the protection and preservation of the environment."
His philosophy of design is best expressed in his most famous saying: "Less but better." This applies both to the clear design and to his pursuit of a world with fewer, but better products.
