Candlestick Clean Cut 5 Blue | Bertjan Pot

The Clean Cut Candlestick is a design by Bertjan Pot for the Dutch design label Buro Berger. This wooden candlestick is handmade in Slovenia and is available in 3 different sizes and 3 different colors: natural beech wood, or stained in blue or orange.
The repetitive and sleek cut-outs in a simple block of wood create a mathematical pattern, which is highly decorative. The Clean Cut 5 is the middle size and holds 5 candles.

Bertjan Pot

Dutch designer Bertjan Pot is best known for Random Light. He designed this spherical lamp made of fiberglass threads in 1999 for Moooi. However, several of his designs have been included in the collection of Moooi, and other brands such as Hay, Arco, Gelderland, and Moustache. The starting point of his designs is usually research and study of a material. Out of curiosity, Bertjan Pot begins to experiment and, with or without manufacturers, takes on challenges to explore the possibilities of the material and push its boundaries.
