Kaweco Classic Sport Ballpoint | Red

The Kaweco Classic Sport ballpoint is a compact pen in plastic with gold-coloured details. The octagonal design dates from 1911 and has not changed since. This version in red has a bright, warm red.

Small enough to always have with you

Kaweco's Sport range is built around writing gear you take with you. The name Sport dates from 1911 and came about because the pen was designed for sportsmen, military officers and people on the move. At 10.5 cm this ballpoint fits in an inside pocket, a case, or onto a notebook with a pen clip.

The push mechanism works accurately and quietly: one press of the button and the tip comes out. There is no cap to lose.

The refill

The ballpoint comes with a blue refill. Replacements are sold separately in a range of colours and thicknesses, so the pen lasts as long as you want to use it. For travelling there are leather cases for one or two pens, and a separate clip to fasten the ballpoint to a notepad.

Red

Red is the boldest colour in the Classic Sport range, and on a ballpoint it comes into its own: there is no cap, so the pen shows one unbroken colour, interrupted only by the gold-coloured ring and push button. If you want the same red but darker and more restrained, there is the bordeaux version.
