The Kaweco Classic Sport ballpoint is a compact pen in plastic with gold-coloured details. The octagonal design dates from 1911 and has not changed since. This version in black has a deep black finish.
Small enough to always have with you
Kaweco's Sport range is built around writing gear you take with you. The name Sport dates from 1911 and came about because the pen was designed for sportsmen, military officers and people on the move. At 10.5 cm this ballpoint fits in an inside pocket, a case, or onto a notebook with a pen clip.
The push mechanism works precisely and quietly: one press of the button and the tip appears. There is no cap to lose.
The refill
The pen comes with a blue refill. Replacements are sold separately in various colours and widths, so the pen lasts as long as you want to use it. For travelling there are leather cases for one or two pens, and a separate clip to fasten the ballpoint to a notepad.
Black
Black is the most neutral colour in the Classic Sport range and the best known. The deep black makes the gold-coloured push button and ring stand out, and it is the version that suits any notebook and any desk — in the office as readily as in a meeting.
