Kaweco Classic Sport Rollerball | Navy

The Kaweco Classic Sport rollerball is a compact pen in plastic with gold-coloured details. The octagonal design dates from 1911 and has not changed since. This version in navy has a deep, saturated blue.

Small enough to always have with you

Kaweco's Sport range is built around writing gear you take with you. The name Sport dates from 1911 and came about because the pen was designed for sportsmen, military officers and people on the move. Closed, this rollerball measures 10.5 cm and fits in an inside pocket, a case, or onto a notebook with a pen clip. Screw the cap onto the back and it grows to 13 cm, sitting in the hand like a full-size pen.

How a rollerball writes

A rollerball sits between a ballpoint and a fountain pen. The ink is thinner than ballpoint paste and runs evenly onto the paper over a ceramic ball: you barely need to press, and the line comes out darker and more even than a ballpoint's. At the same time there is no nib to break in as there is with a fountain pen. It does have a cap, because ink that flows more freely also dries out faster.

The refill

The rollerball comes with a black 0.7 mm G2 refill. Replacements are sold separately in black and blue. For travelling there are leather cases for one or two pens, and a separate clip to fasten the pen to a notepad.

Navy

Navy is a deep, saturated blue that calls to mind the openness of the sea. The name comes from the dark blue uniforms of British Royal Navy officers in the seventeenth century. Of the colours in the Classic Sport range this is the most restrained after black – dark enough to look businesslike, but with enough blue in it not to seem severe.

We aim to deliver your order quickly. Orders placed on weekdays before 4 PM will be shipped the same day, unless otherwise stated. Sometimes delivery may be delayed, for example if a product is out of stock. In that case, we will inform you as soon as possible and you can cancel if you wish.

Within the Netherlands, shipping is free from €49,-, otherwise it costs €4,95. Returns cost €3,95. In Belgium and Germany, shipping is free from €69,-, otherwise it costs €4,95, and returns cost €4,95.

Returns within the Netherlands cost €3.95. You can cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason via the email from our shipping partner Sendcloud. This email contains a link to the return portal, where you can create a return label.
After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product at a PostNL point. You will receive the full order amount back, excluding any shipping costs to the customer. The product must be returned with all accessories and, if possible, in its original condition and packaging. We will refund the amount within 14 days of receiving the return shipment. For other European countries, a return fee applies, calculated via the Sendcloud link.
