Kaweco Classic Sport Fountain Pen Gift Set | Black

The Kaweco Classic Sport Gift Set is the black Classic Sport fountain pen, ready to give: in a tin box, with a gold-coloured Octagonal Clip and six blue ink cartridges included. The pen's octagonal design dates from 1911 and has not changed since.

What's in the set

The tin holds the fountain pen in black with a gold-coloured nib, a separate Sport Octagonal Clip in the same gold colour and a box of six blue ink cartridges. The clip slides under the cap and lets you fasten the pen to an inside pocket, a notebook or a diary. The cartridges mean the recipient can start writing straight away, and the tin is sturdy enough to keep the pen in afterwards.

Small enough to always have with you

Kaweco's Sport range is built around writing gear you take with you. The name Sport dates from 1911 and came about because the pen was designed for sportsmen, military officers and people on the move. Closed, this fountain pen measures 10.5 cm. Screw the cap onto the back and it grows to 13 cm, sitting in the hand like a full-size fountain pen.

Nib and ink

The nib is stainless steel with a gold-coloured finish and is made in Germany. The pen is supplied with a Medium nib — a good place to start if the recipient has never written with a fountain pen before. It takes standard short cartridges, sold separately in many colours, or a mini converter for filling from a bottle.
