Kaweco Liliput Ballpoint Pen with Cap | Brass

At 9.7 cm the Kaweco Liliput ballpoint is one of the smallest you can buy. This version is made of brass, a material that darkens with use and takes on a patina of its own. Every pen therefore ends up looking slightly different.

Small in your pocket, full size in your hand

With the cap on, the Liliput measures 9.7 cm and is under a centimetre thick, so it fits in a breast pocket, a coin pocket or the pen loop of a notebook. Closed, it looks more like a small fountain pen than a ballpoint. Without the cap it is 8.7 cm — too short to write with comfortably. Screw the cap onto the back and it grows to 12.5 cm, sitting in the hand like an ordinary ballpoint.

The Liliput is Kaweco's most restrained design. No clip, no ridges, just a straight cylinder. If you do want to fasten it to a pocket or a notepad, there is a separate clip that slides under the cap.

Brass that changes with you

The brass is lead-free and worked in Germany. It reacts to air and to the oils on your hands: the shine gradually gives way to a darker, warmer tone, strongest where you hold the pen. If you prefer the shine, a brass cloth brings it back. Brass is among the heavier materials in the range, which gives the pen a solid feel despite its size.

The refill

The pen comes with a blue 1.0 mm refill that runs smoothly over the paper. Refills are sold separately in other colours and widths, so the pen lasts as long as you want to use it.

The capped ballpoint comes in brass and in copper. The fountain pen has more versions: brass, copper, stainless steel, the hand-heated Fireblue with its blue and brown tones, and light aluminium in black or silver. For travelling there are leather cases that protect the pen against scratches.

We aim to deliver your order quickly. Orders placed on weekdays before 4 PM will be shipped the same day, unless otherwise stated. Sometimes delivery may be delayed, for example if a product is out of stock. In that case, we will inform you as soon as possible and you can cancel if you wish.

Within the Netherlands, shipping is free from €49,-, otherwise it costs €4,95. Returns cost €3,95. In Belgium and Germany, shipping is free from €69,-, otherwise it costs €4,95, and returns cost €4,95.

Returns within the Netherlands cost €3.95. You can cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason via the email from our shipping partner Sendcloud. This email contains a link to the return portal, where you can create a return label.
After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product at a PostNL point. You will receive the full order amount back, excluding any shipping costs to the customer. The product must be returned with all accessories and, if possible, in its original condition and packaging. We will refund the amount within 14 days of receiving the return shipment. For other European countries, a return fee applies, calculated via the Sendcloud link.
