Kaweco Skyline Sport Fountain Pen | Macchiato

The Kaweco Skyline Sport Fountain Pen is a compact fountain pen made of plastic. The octagonal design dates from 1911 and has not changed since. This version is called macchiato: a warm, soft brown, named after the coffee. The nib and the ring are silver-coloured.

Small enough to carry everywhere

Kaweco's Sport series is built around writing instruments you take with you. The name Sport dates from 1911 and was chosen because the pen was designed for sportsmen, military officers and active people. With the cap on, the fountain pen measures 10.5 cm and fits in an inside pocket or a case.

Post the cap on the back and the pen grows to full length and sits comfortably in the hand. That is the heart of the Sport design: small in your pocket, normal size on paper.

Skyline or Classic: the difference

The Skyline Sport is the same pen as the Classic Sport, with one difference: the nib and the ring are silver-coloured instead of gold-coloured. On a fountain pen that stands out most, because the nib is the part you look at while writing. The colours of the Skyline series are matched to it — softer and more restrained than the bright red and green of the Classic Sport.

The nib and the ink

The fountain pen comes with an M (medium) nib and one blue ink cartridge. Separate ink cartridges are available in various colours. If you prefer to fill from a bottle, a converter takes the place of the cartridge. Separate clips are available in silver, gold, bronze and black, so you can attach the pen to a notepad.

Macchiato

Macchiato is the softest colour in the Skyline series: a light, warm brown that brings coffee with milk to mind. With the cap on it is a quiet, even pen; take the cap off and the silver-coloured nib appears, creating the contrast between the warm brown and the cool silver.

We aim to deliver your order quickly. Orders placed on weekdays before 4 PM will be shipped the same day, unless otherwise stated. Sometimes delivery may be delayed, for example if a product is out of stock. In that case, we will inform you as soon as possible and you can cancel if you wish.

Within the Netherlands, shipping is free from €49,-, otherwise it costs €4,95. Returns cost €3,95. In Belgium and Germany, shipping is free from €69,-, otherwise it costs €4,95, and returns cost €4,95.

Returns within the Netherlands cost €3.95. You can cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason via the email from our shipping partner Sendcloud. This email contains a link to the return portal, where you can create a return label.
After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product at a PostNL point. You will receive the full order amount back, excluding any shipping costs to the customer. The product must be returned with all accessories and, if possible, in its original condition and packaging. We will refund the amount within 14 days of receiving the return shipment. For other European countries, a return fee applies, calculated via the Sendcloud link.
