Kaweco Skyline Sport Mechanical Pencil | 0.7 mm | Mint

The Kaweco Skyline Sport Mechanical Pencil is a compact pencil taking 0.7 mm leads. The octagonal design dates from 1911 and has not changed since. This version is called mint: a soft, light blue with a green undertone. The tip and the push button are silver-coloured.

Small enough to carry everywhere

Kaweco's Sport series is built around writing instruments you take with you. The name Sport dates from 1911 and was chosen because the pen was designed for sportsmen, military officers and active people. At 10.5 cm long, this pencil fits in an inside pocket, a case, or onto a notebook with a pen clip.

The push mechanism comes from Japan and works precisely and quietly. The wide barrel means the lead breaks less easily. No sharpening needed — one press of the button and a fresh point appears.

0.7 millimetres

A 0.7 mm lead is the common size for writing and sketching: thick enough not to break, thin enough for neat handwriting. Kaweco leads come in HB and can be ordered separately.

If you want a thicker line for sketching and drawing, there is the 3.2 mm clutch pencil. That one works differently: the lead is held by jaws rather than a push mechanism, and you sharpen it to a point yourself.

Skyline or Classic: the difference

The Skyline Sport is the same pencil as the Classic Sport, with one difference: the tip and the push button are silver-coloured instead of gold-coloured. That gives the pencil a cooler, quieter look. The colours of the Skyline series are matched to it — softer and more restrained than the bright red and green of the Classic Sport.

Mint

On a pencil, mint has a practical advantage: you find it again. A black pencil disappears among the papers on a desk or at the bottom of a bag; a pale blue one does not. And the colour is soft enough not to shout — it stands out without being bright. If you would rather have a warm tone, macchiato is there.

Within the Netherlands, shipping is free from €49,-, otherwise it costs €4,95. Returns cost €3,95. In Belgium and Germany, shipping is free from €69,-, otherwise it costs €4,95, and returns cost €4,95.

Returns within the Netherlands cost €3.95. You can cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason via the email from our shipping partner Sendcloud. This email contains a link to the return portal, where you can create a return label.
After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product at a PostNL point. You will receive the full order amount back, excluding any shipping costs to the customer. The product must be returned with all accessories and, if possible, in its original condition and packaging. We will refund the amount within 14 days of receiving the return shipment. For other European countries, a return fee applies, calculated via the Sendcloud link.
