Kaweco Classic Sport Mechanical Pencil | 0.7 mm | Green

The Kaweco Classic Sport mechanical pencil is a compact pencil with a 0.7 mm lead. The octagonal design dates from 1911 and has not changed since. This version in green has a dark, muted green with gold-coloured details.

Small enough to always have with you

Kaweco's Sport range is built around writing gear you take with you. The name Sport dates from 1911 and came about because the pen was designed for sportsmen, military officers and people on the move. At 10.5 cm this pencil fits neatly in an inside pocket, a case, or onto a notebook with a pen clip. Your pencil is always to hand.

The push mechanism comes from Japan and works precisely and quietly. The wide barrel means the lead breaks less easily. Sharpening is never needed — one press of the button and a fresh point appears.

0.7 millimetres

A 0.7 mm lead is the usual size for writing and sketching: thick enough not to snap, fine enough for neat handwriting. Kaweco leads are HB.

The clutch pencil with a 3.2 mm lead gives a broader line, meant for sketching and drawing.

Green

The green of the Classic Sport is dark and muted rather than bright. It is a colour that gets noticed without demanding attention: clearly different from black or navy, yet still quiet enough for the office. Against the dark green the gold-coloured push button and ring show up well.
