This collage features some of Haring’s most well-known symbols, evoking a spirit of interconnectedness, compassion, and unity. The Heart, symbolizing optimism and love, is scattered amidst a vibrant gathering of The Heart Face, a representation of optimism and love, and is one of Haring’s most iconic and instantly recognizable symbols. The heart is often used in Haring’s artwork to represent various social and political issues, including love and unity, rights and acceptance, and resistance to oppressive forces. It allows the artist to portray his positive belief in humanity, as well as the power of love, whether romantic or as a sign of community.
