The Plissé Shoulder Bag is made from leftover Luxaflex fabric. It is a design by Niki Giling for the Dutch brand Koda Amsterdam. The leftover Luxaflex fabrics are normally used as window coverings. This allows the bag to be folded and gives it an elegant and luxurious appearance.

Haute Couture

Designer Niki Giling was inspired by the pleats in haute couture dresses on the catwalk. By using the pleats of the window covering vertically, a bag with a special triangular shape is created. It can be folded like an accordion into a very small package.

Koda Amsterdam distinguishes itself through its use of materials and careful selection in collaboration with designers. The collection consists of bags and accessories, made from leftover materials from fabric manufacturers, such as curtains, tents, and upholstery fabrics. In collaboration with Dutch designers, they create beautiful products from these waste materials, such as bags, throws, and cushions. They are made with great care in social workshops in the Netherlands. This makes every Koda unique!

About Nikki Giling

Niki Giling graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Arnhem in 2008. She specialized in designing fashion accessories. She then started her own studio and opened her own store in the Modekwartier, Arnhem's fashion district. Her work is characterized by minimalist design and a functional approach. Nikki's starting point is the material she works with. Unexpected details make her creations unique.

We aim to deliver your order quickly. Orders placed on weekdays before 4 PM will be shipped the same day, unless otherwise stated. Sometimes delivery may be delayed, for example if a product is out of stock. In that case, we will inform you as soon as possible and you can cancel if you wish.

Within the Netherlands, shipping is free from €49,-, otherwise it costs €4,95. Returns cost €3,95. In Belgium and Germany, shipping is free from €69,-, otherwise it costs €4,95, and returns cost €4,95.

Returns within the Netherlands cost €3.95. You can cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason via the email from our shipping partner Sendcloud. This email contains a link to the return portal, where you can create a return label.
After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product at a PostNL point. You will receive the full order amount back, excluding any shipping costs to the customer. The product must be returned with all accessories and, if possible, in its original condition and packaging. We will refund the amount within 14 days of receiving the return shipment. For other European countries, a return fee applies, calculated via the Sendcloud link.
