Cuckoo Clock Ettore Small | Oak & Black | Diamantini & Domeniconi

Ettore is a modern cuckoo clock from the Italian design brand Diamantini & Domeniconi. Every hour, the cuckoo emerges and announces the number of hours with its characteristic sound. Not only is its appearance modern, but it also features a quartz movement with an electronic cuckoo. The light sensor ensures that the cuckoo does not sound at night when it's dark. The volume can be adjusted to two settings or can be turned off completely. The cuckoo only emerges on the hour to indicate the number of hours.
The Ettore cuckoo clock is available in two sizes and various colors and finishes. It can be easily hung on the wall, but can also be used freestanding on a mantelpiece or in a bookshelf, for example.

Ettore

This clock was designed by Italian designer Arianna Subri. The name Ettore is partly a reference to Hector (Ettore in Italian), a figure from Greek mythology. He was seen as the protector of Troy, just as the small house with the cuckoo is supported and protected by the larger part of the clock. On the other hand, the name Ettore is a tribute to the Italian designer Ettore Sottsas.
