Lexon Mina Small Rechargeable LED Lamp | Aluminium

The Mina Small from the French design brand Lexon is a rechargeable lamp just under nine centimetres tall. This handy cordless light goes wherever you want it – on the bedside table, on a bookshelf, or outside on the table in summer. No cable, so you can take it anywhere.

Warm or cool white, and dimmable

One press of the button gives warm light, a second press cool white, a third turns it off. Hold the button down to dim the light steplessly; let go at the brightness you want. Switch it off and the last setting is kept, so you are straight back to your favourite level when you turn it on again. The button sits under the base, neatly out of sight.

Twelve hours on one charge

The Lexon Mina runs for twelve hours on a full battery, measured at 75% brightness at room temperature. Turn it up brighter and the battery drains a little faster. You charge it with the supplied USB-C cable, which takes about two hours. The white light beside the port flashes while charging and stays on once it is full. When the battery is nearly empty, that same light flashes for a few minutes.

Where not to put it

The Mina Small is not waterproof, so keep it away from the sink, the bath and open flames. Charge it only with an adapter that supplies 5 V and 0.5 A; a heavier adapter can damage the electronics. If you leave it unused for a while, top it up every three months — that keeps the battery in good shape.
