Lexon Mina Medium Rechargeable LED Table Lamp | Dark Grey

The Mina Medium from the French design brand Lexon is a rechargeable table lamp eleven centimetres tall, with nine light colours and no cable. It is splash-proof, so it can come outside as well: onto the garden table, onto the balcony ledge, or into the bathroom.

Nine colours, and one button

The whole top is the button. Press it to switch the lamp on, and press again to cycle through the colours: warm white, cool white, blue, yellow, green, red, purple, light pink and light blue. Hold your finger on it to dim. To switch it off, wait three seconds after choosing a colour and then press once more. It remembers the last colour for next time.

Or white only, if you prefer

Press three times in quick succession and it skips the colours, switching only between warm and cool white. The same action brings the nine colours back.

Twenty-four hours on one charge

Lexon counts on twenty-four hours of light, measured at 75% brightness at room temperature. There are two ways to charge it: with the supplied USB-C cable in about three and a half hours, or wirelessly on a QI charger in four hours. A wireless charger is not included. The white light beside the port flashes while charging and stays on once it is full; when the battery is nearly empty, that same light flashes for a few minutes.

It can go outside too

The housing is IPX4: protected against splashing water and a rain shower, but not against being submerged. On the garden table or beside the barbecue is fine, in the swimming pool is not. Do note that this protection only applies with the cover over the USB port properly closed.
