The Line Up is a vase made of two separate parts. Slide them together and a clean white block stands on the table. Set the two parts apart and the colours appear: yellow, red, blue and black. One vase with several appearances.
White or colour — you choose
The outsides of both parts are white, so the vase looks restrained while it is closed. The insides, though, are coloured, and as soon as you move the parts those colours show. How far apart you set them is up to you, so you can play with the shape until it stands the way you want.
That suits quite different moments: closed and white when you want calm on the table, open and colourful when there is something to celebrate. Try the various possibilities this vase offers. Slide it together into a square or a rectangle, place the white sides against each other so the colours show, or set the two parts apart on a table or a windowsill.
With or without flowers
Both parts hold water, so you can put flowers in either. Single stems or one bloom per part look best — that way the shape of the vase stays visible. Without flowers it is an object in its own right.

About MoMA
The Museum of Modern Art was founded in 1929 in Manhattan, New York, and has since become one of the leading museums of modern and contemporary art. Four months after it opened, a small shop appeared in the lobby. From that grew the museum's own MoMA collection: carefully selected products that fit the museum's view of good design. In that way it helps make good design accessible.
