The different Cyclists

The miniature cyclists from Bernard & Eddy are painted in different iconic cycling jerseys. There is the rainbow jersey of the world champion, the yellow jersey of the leader of the Tour de France, the polka dot jersey of the king of the mountains and the green jersey of the best sprinter. From the Giro d'Italia there is the pink jersey and from the Vuelta the red jersey. In addition, there are the champion's jerseys of various countries, such as the cycling jersey of the Belgian champion, and the champion's jerseys of countries such as the Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy, etc.

The cyclists are available in 5 different characteristic cycling positions:

• The Rider: in the classic basic position on the racing bike
  
• The Sprinter: bent deep forward in the handlebars, looking for victory
  
• The Climber: powerfully standing on the pedals to climb the steepest mountain
  
• The Winner: with an arm proudly in the air to celebrate the victory
  
• The Drinker: brings a water bottle to his mouth to quench their thirst 

History│Tour de France

Miniature riders originally appeared in the 1930s, when the Tour de France organization decided to put national teams in the spotlight by creating a publicity caravan. Although they were very popular, they were forgotten at the beginning of this century.
Bernard & Eddy has revived this tradition. It is the brainchild of a graphic designer, who was born in the 1970s, when the Tour de France reached its peak. Long before they became a drawing, and later a concrete project, the miniature cyclists were already in his head and he was already playing with the idea. Eventually, he designed a 3D drawing to create a unique mold, from which the first figurine would emerge.

Champions of Nations

On the Bernard & Eddy cyclists you will not find jerseys with sponsors or logos. Instead, they declare: Long live the flags!

“Bernard Hinault is French, after all, Eddy Merckx is Belgian, Joop Zoetemelk is Dutch, Miguel Indurain is Spanish, Marco Pantani is Italian...”

In addition to their respective national origins, these champions have all become legendary figures in the collective subconscious. These cyclists are a great gift for any cycling enthusiast. But it also sparks the imagination of children to find their own way in the world.

We aim to deliver your order quickly. Orders placed on weekdays before 4 PM will be shipped the same day, unless otherwise stated. Sometimes delivery may be delayed, for example if a product is out of stock. In that case, we will inform you as soon as possible and you can cancel if you wish.

Within the Netherlands, shipping is free from €49,-, otherwise it costs €4,95. Returns cost €3,95. In Belgium and Germany, shipping is free from €69,-, otherwise it costs €4,95, and returns cost €4,95.

Returns within the Netherlands cost €3.95. You can cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason via the email from our shipping partner Sendcloud. This email contains a link to the return portal, where you can create a return label.
After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product at a PostNL point. You will receive the full order amount back, excluding any shipping costs to the customer. The product must be returned with all accessories and, if possible, in its original condition and packaging. We will refund the amount within 14 days of receiving the return shipment. For other European countries, a return fee applies, calculated via the Sendcloud link.
