Wildlife Garden Multiholk Wooden Birdhouse & Nest Box | Carbon Black

Multiholk is a multifunctional birdhouse by the Swedish brand Wildlife Garden: nest box and feeding house in one. Use it as a feeding station for the birds in winter, and turn it into a nest box in spring. By removing the roof you convert the Multiholk in no time at all.

Carbon Black

At Wildlife Garden a birdhouse does not have to be merely practical; it is allowed to have character too. Within the Multiholk series, which spans a range of house and architecture styles, there is a set based on natural pigments. Carbon black is one of them: a pigment derived from soot. Well into the twentieth century it was Sweden's most valuable building paint pigment. Swedish allmoge painters extracted it from the soot of burnt birch bark. This monochrome black house draws on that soot-black shade.

Designed with the help of ornithologists

The Multiholk was designed with the help of ornithologists, so it suits small birds. For extra comfort there are ventilation holes, and small climbing ridges on the inside allow the chicks to climb towards the exit when they learn to fly. The feed tray is designed so the birds cannot sit in the food, and it is enclosed so the food stays clean and free of disease.

Environmentally friendly

The Multiholk is made from wood from responsibly managed forests and painted on the outside with water-based paint. You can stand the birdhouse somewhere or hang it on a wall or in a tree with the wooden bracket supplied. A black metal pole is available separately (delivered in 3 parts for shipping reasons). With it you place the house easily in the middle of your garden. There is also a metal swivel arm to mount on the wall, which lets you position the birdhouse in front of the window for a good view of it.

As a feeding house

• take the extra floor out of the birdhouse and fill the base with food
• fit the perches on the outside so the birds can sit on them
• use the slider on the inside to stop the birds getting in through the opening, so the food stays clean

As a nest box

• fit the extra floor, on which the birds build their nest
• remove the perches on the outside
• open the entrance with the slider on the inside

Wildlife Garden is a Swedish brand that has been making wooden products for indoors and outdoors since 2005. It started with an idea from founder Helena Nobel: birdhouses that are not only functional, but beautiful enough to bring a smile. Together with her husband Robert, a devoted birdwatcher, she designed and tested the first models in their own back garden. We aim to deliver your order quickly. Orders placed on weekdays before 4 PM will be shipped the same day, unless otherwise stated. Sometimes delivery may be delayed, for example if a product is out of stock. In that case, we will inform you as soon as possible and you can cancel if you wish.

Within the Netherlands, shipping is free from €49,-, otherwise it costs €4,95. Returns cost €3,95. In Belgium and Germany, shipping is free from €69,-, otherwise it costs €4,95, and returns cost €4,95.

Returns within the Netherlands cost €3.95. You can cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason via the email from our shipping partner Sendcloud. This email contains a link to the return portal, where you can create a return label.
After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product at a PostNL point. You will receive the full order amount back, excluding any shipping costs to the customer. The product must be returned with all accessories and, if possible, in its original condition and packaging. We will refund the amount within 14 days of receiving the return shipment. For other European countries, a return fee applies, calculated via the Sendcloud link.
