This cube-shaped piggy bank features Miffy images in Delft Blue. It was made by the pottery factory Royal Delft. On one side, Miffy has her arms down. On the other, she has them cheering in the air, probably because some money has been put into the piggy bank. Saving becomes a lot more fun this way. The cube shape gives the piggy bank a modern look.

About Royal Delft
Royal Delft is also known as Porceleyne Fles. This pottery factory has been creating high-quality Delft Blue products since 1653. It is the only remaining 17th-century pottery factory in Delft that still produces traditional hand-painted porcelain.
The artisanal painting still plays a central role, but over time various techniques have been added. For example, the transfer process is widely used, in which an image is printed on the ceramic with a screen print. This results in a high-quality product that is more affordable than the hand-painted collection.
Nijntje & Miffy
Who didn't grow up with Miffy! The most famous rabbit in the world is the main character in a series of children's books by Dick Bruna. This Dutch pride became so well-known around the world that in 1996 she also received the new name Miffy, because Nijntje is difficult to pronounce for non-Dutch speakers.
Miffy originated in 1955 as a white rabbit. Later, Dick Bruna decided to make her a girl because he preferred drawing dresses to trousers. And so, Miffy got her iconic dress.
