Proud Mary is a decorative sculpture made of Delft Blue porcelain, consisting of four separate parts. It is a design by Chris Koens and Ramon Middelkoop for the earthenware factory Royal Delft (Koninklijke Porceleyne Fles).
Delftware
This design originated from a passion for Delft Blue, and the desire to give this traditional technique a modern look & feel. Royal Delft has been producing Delft Blue products since the 17th century. Proud Mary is a tribute to the history and tradition of Royal Delft. It is named after Mary Stuart II, the wife of Stadholder William III. She was a great admirer and collector of Delft Blue in the 17th century.

Proud Mary is available in various decorations, each also referencing the history of Royal Delft. A bun on her head makes Proud Mary extra feminine.
Mary consists of four different loose elements: the skirt, the body, the collar, and the head. They are delivered as a fixed combination but are also interchangeable.

About Royal Delft
Royal Delft is also known by the name Porceleyne Fles. This earthenware factory has been creating high-quality Delft Blue products since 1653. It is the only remaining 17th-century earthenware factory in Delft that still produces traditionally hand-painted porcelain.
Traditional painting is still central, but over time, various techniques have been added. For example, the transfer process is widely used, where an image is printed on the ceramics using screen printing. This results in a high-quality product that is more affordable than the hand-painted collection.
We aim to deliver your order quickly. Orders placed on weekdays before 4 PM will be shipped the same day, unless otherwise stated. Sometimes delivery may be delayed, for example if a product is out of stock. In that case, we will inform you as soon as possible and you can cancel if you wish.
Within the Netherlands, shipping is free from €39,-, otherwise it costs €3.95. Returns are free. In Belgium and Germany, shipping is free from €49,-, otherwise it costs €3.95, and returns cost €3.95.
Returns within the Netherlands are free. You can cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason, using the MyParcel email where you can create a return label. After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product to a PostNL point. You will receive the full order amount back, excluding shipping costs to the customer. The product must be returned with all accessories and, if possible, in its original condition and packaging. We will refund the amount within 14 days of receiving the return. For other European countries, a return fee applies, calculated via the MyParcel link.
