Remember Aurora Ceramic Table Lamp | Kaido

Aurora is a table lamp by the German brand Remember with a ceramic base and a fabric shade. This version is called Kaido and has a plain green base, a cord in the same colour, and a shade with vertical stripes in varying colours. At 36 cm high and 21 cm across it is ideal for a cabinet, a sideboard or the bedside table. It makes a striking accent in the room. Even when it is not lit it is a real eyecatcher and an addition to your interior.

Vertical stripes in varying colours

The Kaido shade carries a motif of vertical stripes in several colours. The narrow and wide stripes run from top to bottom and are interrupted by a horizontal stripe, where the pattern changes to another colour. With the lamp on, the light shines through the fabric and the stripes cast a lively, atmospheric play of light on the wall.

Ceramic against textile

The combination of ceramic and fabric is what makes the lamp: smooth, hard and a single colour below, a soft material with a busy pattern above. That contrast gives Aurora its own presence. Because the cord is the same green as the base, the cable does not jar — not even when the lamp stands in the middle of a cabinet with the cord in plain view.

Bulb not included

Aurora runs on mains power and has an E27 fitting for up to 25 watts. The bulb is not included, so you buy that separately — which also means you choose how warm and how bright the light is, and you can replace it when the bulb fails. The textile cord is 2 metres long and has an on/off switch, so you do not have to unplug it every time. Aurora is intended for indoor use.

Aurora or a rechargeable lamp

Remember also has three rechargeable lamps: Bob, Bobbi and Filou. Those you put wherever you like, with no socket needed, but the LED is built in for good. Aurora is the reverse: it needs a socket and so takes a fixed place, but you choose your own bulb and replace it whenever you want. At 36 cm Aurora is also the largest of the four, and the only one with a fabric shade — which gives a very different kind of light than an LED lamp.

Returns within the Netherlands cost €3.95. You can cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason via the email from our shipping partner Sendcloud. This email contains a link to the return portal, where you can create a return label.
After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product at a PostNL point. You will receive the full order amount back, excluding any shipping costs to the customer. The product must be returned with all accessories and, if possible, in its original condition and packaging. We will refund the amount within 14 days of receiving the return shipment. For other European countries, a return fee applies, calculated via the Sendcloud link.
