Remember Ruka LED Dinner Candles Set of 2 | Olive Green & Dark Purple

This set holds two LED candles by the German brand Remember, in olive green and dark purple. At 24,5 cm high and 2,2 cm across they are the size of an ordinary dinner candle, so they fit the candleholders you already have. The LED light runs on batteries: there is no real flame, so you can leave them burning without a second thought.

A coating of real paraffin

The candles are coated in a layer of real paraffin wax. They feel like a real candle. The LED itself is shaped like a flame. Between the warm light and the material it reads as a real candle rather than the plastic imitation LED candles are known for.

Warm candlelight at 2200 Kelvin

The light is 2200 to 2400 Kelvin. That is warmer than most lamps — the Remember table lamps give 3000 Kelvin, for instance — and so it comes close to the light of a real flame. Not a cool white, but the warm yellow light you expect from a candle.

Remote with timer and dimmer

A remote comes with the set, battery included. With it you switch both candles on and off at once, dim them, and choose between two settings: candle or lamp. The timer lets them burn for 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours, after which they go out by themselves — handy when you leave them on the table and go to bed.

Switch on the underside

There is an on/off switch on the underside. Turn that off and the candles cannot come on by accident while you are not using them, which also spares the batteries. Each candle takes two AAA batteries, which are not included. The CR2025 for the remote is. Each candle draws only 0,03 watts, so one set of batteries lasts a long time.

Fits your own candleholder

The base is rubber and tapers, so the candle grips in almost any candleholder without wobbling. If you want a holder to go with them, have a look at the candleholders.
