Ichendorf Milano | Animal Farm Pitcher | Carafe Squirrel

The Squirrel Jug is a glass carafe from the Animal Farm series by the Italian brand Ichendorf Milano. The squirrel's tail is made of white glass, as is the handle. It is designed by Allessandra Balderischi for the Italian brand Ichendorf Milano. The Animal Farm collection features various animals, such as a squirrel, rabbit, sheep, turtle, etc. The animals form a striking detail in the sleek shape of the carafe.

Design and material

The jug is made of mouth-blown borosilicate glass, a light, strong, and heat-resistant material. This makes the glass excellent for daily use. It can even be washed in the dishwasher. However, for a longer lifespan, hand washing is, of course, better. Use it at home for water, soft drinks, or other beverages during meals. But it is, of course, also a beautiful object as decoration.
Each carafe is handmade. This means that each piece is slightly different and unique, like a small work of art.

Ichendorf Milano

The Ichendorf Milano collection consists of handmade glass objects. The company has a rich history dating back to the beginning of the 20th century in Quadrath-Ichendorf, a small town near Cologne. Master glassmakers created objects with precious ornaments. This continued until the 1950s, when a preference for pure forms and material purity was adopted. This led to the creation of modern designed objects.
Since 1990, Ichendorf has been based in Milan, where, in collaboration with international designers, it has developed a beautiful collection produced worldwide. The collection consists of poetic design objects, created with respect for the material and the company's history and knowledge.

Allessandra Baldereschi

Milanese Allessandra Baldereschi studied industrial design at the Domus Academy. She collaborates with various international brands, designing lighting, decoration, and furniture. Her well-known exhibitions include: the Triennale di Milano, the Biennale of Saint-Etienne, Inside Design Amsterdam, the Seoul Design Festival, and the Moss Gallery in New York. For Ichendorf, she designed various collections such as Animal Farm, Botanica, Cuore, Cats, etc.

Within the Netherlands, shipping is free from €49,-, otherwise it costs €4,95. Returns cost €3,95. In Belgium and Germany, shipping is free from €69,-, otherwise it costs €4,95, and returns cost €4,95.

Returns within the Netherlands cost €3.95. You can cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason via the email from our shipping partner Sendcloud. This email contains a link to the return portal, where you can create a return label.
After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product at a PostNL point. You will receive the full order amount back, excluding any shipping costs to the customer. The product must be returned with all accessories and, if possible, in its original condition and packaging. We will refund the amount within 14 days of receiving the return shipment. For other European countries, a return fee applies, calculated via the Sendcloud link.
