Secrid has created a collection of wallets inspired by Dutch masterpieces from the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam and the Mauritshuis in The Hague: a small world-class museum with a formidable collection of Dutch paintings from the time of Rembrandt and Vermeer. The Girl with the Pearl Earring is one of the most iconic works of the Dutch Masters. Vermeer was the master of light. This is reflected here in the softness of the girl's face and the flashes of light on her moist lips. And of course the pearl, which consists of just a few masterfully placed brushstrokes and takes centre stage on the wallet.

Art Collection
Supple Italian calf leather serves as the basis for the Art collection. The artworks are printed on the leather in great detail. Even the smallest details are visible, such as the cracks in the paint. An engraving on the inside of the wallet tells about the paintings and in which museum they can be found.
