Tap Water Carafe Borosilicate Glass | Dune Water

The Tap Water Carafe is a design by Lotte de Raadt for the Dutch design label Vij5. This water carafe is made of glass and is intended to encourage the use of tap water. Dutch tap water is top quality drinking water. It is also 2000 times cheaper than bottled water. But above all, it is better for the environment: no environmentally polluting plastic bottles or transportation.

Symbolic design

The design of this water carafe clearly refers to water. The stopper is a reference to the tap where the bottle is filled. The glass version is a variant of the terracotta version, which is available in 3 different shapes: Surface Water, Dune Water, and Ground Water. The three different shapes of the bottle refer to the different origins of Dutch water. The tall bottle refers to water that comes from deep underground. The short, wide bottle refers to the collection of surface water, and the third shape to dune water. For now, the glass variant is only available in the Dune Water version.  A beautiful symbolic design!
The glass variant is, of course, not self-cooling. It is made of high-quality borosilicate glass and is handcrafted in small batches.

We aim to deliver your order quickly. Orders placed on weekdays before 4 PM will be shipped the same day, unless otherwise stated. Sometimes delivery may be delayed, for example if a product is out of stock. In that case, we will inform you as soon as possible and you can cancel if you wish.

Within the Netherlands, shipping is free from €49,-, otherwise it costs €4,95. Returns cost €3,95. In Belgium and Germany, shipping is free from €69,-, otherwise it costs €4,95, and returns cost €4,95.

Returns within the Netherlands cost €3.95. You can cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason via the email from our shipping partner Sendcloud. This email contains a link to the return portal, where you can create a return label.
After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product at a PostNL point. You will receive the full order amount back, excluding any shipping costs to the customer. The product must be returned with all accessories and, if possible, in its original condition and packaging. We will refund the amount within 14 days of receiving the return shipment. For other European countries, a return fee applies, calculated via the Sendcloud link.
