Ichendorf Milano | Tumbler Christmas Tales | Snowman | Drinking Glass

Tumbler Christmas Tales is a drinking glass with a small glass snowman at the bottom. It is a design by Allessandra Balderischi for the Italian brand Ichendorf Milano. It comes from the Christmas series, which features a snowman, Santa Claus, or a Christmas tree, etc. The Christmas decoration forms a striking detail in the sleek shape of the glass.

Design and Material

The glass is made of hand-blown borosilicate glass, a light, strong, and heat-resistant material. This makes the glass excellent for daily use. It can even be put in the dishwasher. However, for a longer lifespan, handwashing is, of course, better. Use it at home for water, soft drinks, or other beverages. But it is, of course, also a beautiful object as a decoration.
Each glass is handmade. This means each glass is slightly different and unique, like a small work of art.

Ichendorf Milano

The Ichendorf Milano collection consists of handmade glass objects. The company has a rich history dating back to the early 20^th century in Quadrath-Ichendorf, a small town near Cologne. Master glassblowers created objects with precious ornaments. Until the 1950s, when the preference for pure forms and purity of material was implemented. This led to the creation of modernly designed objects.
Since 1990, Ichendorf has been located in Milan, where, in collaboration with international designers, it has developed a beautiful collection produced all over the world.
