Ichendorf Milano | Tumbler Tabby Cat | Lying White & Smoke

Glass Tabby Cat is a handmade drinking glass from the Italian brand Ichendorf Milano. A white cat with a black tail lies at the bottom center of the glass as decoration. It is a design by Allessandra Balderischi for the Italian brand Ichendorf Milano. It comes from the Tabby Cat series, which features cats in typical poses such as lying, sitting, or standing. The cats form a striking detail in the sleek shape of the glass. A great gift for cat lovers!

Design and material

The glass is made of hand-blown borosilicate glass, a light, strong, and heat-resistant material. This makes the glass excellent for daily use. It is even dishwasher safe. However, for a long lifespan, handwashing is naturally better. Use it at home during meals for water, soda, or other drinks. But it is also a beautiful object for decoration. Each glass is handmade. This makes each glass slightly different and unique, like a small work of art.

Ichendorf Milano

The Ichendorf Milano collection consists of handmade glass objects. The company has a rich history dating back to the early 20th century in Quadrath-Ichendorf, a small town near Cologne. Master glassmakers created objects with precious ornaments. This continued until the 1950s when the preference shifted to pure forms and material purity. This led to the creation of modernly designed objects. Since 1990, Ichendorf has been based in Milan, where it has developed a beautiful collection in collaboration with international designers, which are produced all over the world. The collection consists of poetic design objects, created with respect for the material and the company's history and knowledge.
