TwoTowel Warm Grey | 2-in-1 Hand and Tea Towel | Vij5

TwoTowel is a Hand Towel and a Tea Towel in one. It was designed by Anieke Branderhorst for the design label Vij5. Two different kitchen towels, normally used separately, have been combined into one product. Through a carefully designed gradient in color and in the fabric's weave, the two functions seamlessly blend into each other. The loop in the middle of the towel ensures that both functions are clearly visible when you hang up the towel. Tweedoek is not only functional but also a real eye-catcher in your kitchen.

Design and production

Although the design of this towel seems simple, it proved to be very complicated to produce. A tea towel and a hand towel are normally produced on two different machines, while the Tweedoek had to be made on one machine. Several manufacturers said that the design was therefore impossible to produce. Designer Anieke Branderhorst and Vij5 decided to further develop the design technically with textile designer Jolijn Fiddelaers. Eventually, they found a producer in Turkey who dared to take on the experiment.

About Vij5

Vij5 is a Dutch design label for interior accessories, furniture, and lighting. Arjan van Raadshoven and Anieke Branderhorst are the initiators and curate the collection. The focus is on the product and the story behind it. When a concept appeals to them, it is translated into a producible item, crafted with care for materials and by skilled professionals. They collaborate with renowned designers such as Floris Hovers, Maarten Baptist, Ontwerpduo, Daphna Laurens, and David Derksen.

We aim to deliver your order quickly. Orders placed on weekdays before 4 PM will be shipped the same day, unless otherwise stated. Sometimes delivery may be delayed, for example if a product is out of stock. In that case, we will inform you as soon as possible and you can cancel if you wish.

Within the Netherlands, shipping is free from €49,-, otherwise it costs €4,95. Returns cost €3,95. In Belgium and Germany, shipping is free from €69,-, otherwise it costs €4,95, and returns cost €4,95.

Returns within the Netherlands cost €3.95. You can cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason via the email from our shipping partner Sendcloud. This email contains a link to the return portal, where you can create a return label.
After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product at a PostNL point. You will receive the full order amount back, excluding any shipping costs to the customer. The product must be returned with all accessories and, if possible, in its original condition and packaging. We will refund the amount within 14 days of receiving the return shipment. For other European countries, a return fee applies, calculated via the Sendcloud link.
