About Meet the Wedgies

Meet the Wedgies is a British company. Wedgie doorstops are handmade from sustainable Alstonia tropical hardwood. They are then hand-painted. This makes all Wedgies slightly different and unique!
By purchasing a Wedgie, you support their project in Sri Lanka. Local artisans work under good conditions and receive fair wages. After the Wedgies are hand-carved, they are delivered unpainted to the employees' homes, along with paint, brushes, and tools. As soon as the doorstops are painted and finished, they are picked up and the employees are paid immediately. This gives people in rural areas the opportunity to earn an income alongside their daily activities.

Design with a wink

Wedgies are inspired by famous personalities from the world of pop music, art, and culture, such as George Michael, Anna Wintour, Frida Kahlo and David Bowie. The high-quality products have a personal touch with a wink. A perfect combination of functionality and humor that will bring a smile to your face.
