The Patella Crescenda by the Dutch design label House of Thol is a growing set for growing micro-greens in your own home. The name is derived from Latin and means 'groesischotel'. With this sprouting set you grow your own super food. All year round, without using soil or (disposable) substrate and without using energy. The beautiful design is also an asset to your interior.
The Patella Crescenda is, unlike other growing systems, very easy to use. You only need to fill the reservoir with water once per cycle. Then you can grow your own microgreens hygienically and without soil. The heat and light in your own home take care of the rest. This way no energy is wasted. The stainless steel growth discs are easy to clean and can be used again and again. Just with loose seeds. They are designed so that you can grow different types of microgreens next to each other.
The Patella Crescenda is delivered without seeds. You can use your own seeds, or order a Starterkit with Seeds separately.

About Micro-Greens
Microgreens or micro vegetables are the edible young shoots of adult plants. We also know them under the name sprouts. Micro greens come in all sorts of shapes and colours and are packed with flavour and vitamins.
Depending on the species, the concentration of vitamin C, vitamin K, Beta Carotene and antioxidants is sometimes 40 times higher than in the adult plant. Because you can eat Micro greens raw and you always harvest them fresh, little of the nutritional value is lost during preparation.
Microgreens can be grown all year round, right inside your home. All the seeds need to grow is warmth, light and water.
Due to their distinct flavor and many different types, microgreens have become increasingly popular in the culinary world in recent years. Microgreens are great as a garnish and in a salad, but are also a nice addition to a cheese sandwich or a wrap, a healthy flavor enhancer in a smoothie or a finishing touch for a restaurant experience at home.
We aim to deliver your order quickly. Orders placed on weekdays before 4 PM will be shipped the same day, unless otherwise stated. Sometimes delivery may be delayed, for example if a product is out of stock. In that case, we will inform you as soon as possible and you can cancel if you wish.
Within the Netherlands, shipping is free from €49,-, otherwise it costs €4,95. Returns cost €3,95. In Belgium and Germany, shipping is free from €69,-, otherwise it costs €4,95, and returns cost €4,95.
Returns within the Netherlands cost €3.95. You can cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason via the email from our shipping partner Sendcloud. This email contains a link to the return portal, where you can create a return label.
After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product at a PostNL point. You will receive the full order amount back, excluding any shipping costs to the customer. The product must be returned with all accessories and, if possible, in its original condition and packaging. We will refund the amount within 14 days of receiving the return shipment. For other European countries, a return fee applies, calculated via the Sendcloud link.
