Sustainable Lighting
This sustainable LED lighting charges in the sun during the day. When it gets dark in the evening, the lighting switches on automatically. As soon as it gets light, it also switches off automatically. An ideal outdoor lighting for a nice spot in the garden or on the balcony. Hang it on a tree or on a parasol. Sonnenglas is made in South Africa and was originally developed as safe lighting for areas without electricity. It is produced in a socially sustainable way according to strict Fairtrade standards. The concept was developed in the Townships of South Africa. Here, stable jobs are created, providing security and prospects for unemployed young people from disadvantaged areas in Johannesburg. This way, Sonnenglas remains connected to the people who produce it.
