Suite702 is a Dutch brand of interior and lifestyle products. The range consists of colourful bed linen and bath textiles made from GOTS certified organic cotton. The name refers to the famous Bed-In by John Lennon and Yoko Ono. In protest against the war in Vietnam, the newly married couple spent a week in bed from 25 to 31 March 1969, in suite 702 of the Hilton in Amsterdam, with the press present, to draw attention to world peace.

Martens & Martens: Colors on the Beach

This line grew out of a collaboration with the Dutch graphic designer and typographer Karel Martens. In 2017 he painted the beach huts of Le Havre with coloured stripes in varying widths, a project called Colors on the Beach. Those colour combinations were carried over into textiles: stripes in different colours and widths run along the length of the beige towels, and because the front and the back are different, the effect surprises you every time. The line includes guest towels, hand towels, bath towels, beach towels and bath mats.

Lex Pott: Blend

The Blend series was designed by Lex Pott and does something else entirely with colour. Two shades run into one another towards the middle, where they form a third, blended colour. Each set consists of two towels, one with vertical stripes and one with horizontal stripes.

Hot water bottles with a knitted cover

Alongside textiles, Suite702 makes hot water bottles: natural rubber bottles in a knitted cover that fits around the bottle like a jumper. The cover is 85% organic cotton with 15% recycled polyester, which keeps the knit in shape. There is an ordinary 2 litre bottle, a small one of 0.8 litres and a long one of 72 centimetres for your back, neck and shoulders.

Sustainable and GOTS certified

Suite702 makes products that last for years and produces responsibly. That is more than a promise: the brand meets the requirements of GOTS, the Global Organic Textile Standard. This certification covers the whole process, from growing the cotton plant through to packaging the finished product, and it sets requirements for working conditions as well. Suite702 works exclusively with GOTS-certified companies and is certified itself.
