The Birdybox is a small house with birdsong that responds to movement. This version has a front in real oak. Walk past and the singing begins — twenty seconds long, and then it is quiet again.

Calming birdsong

A motion sensor triggers the sound of birds chirping. Like a walk in the woods, it brings a moment of calm in the middle of the day. It also responds when the light goes on or off. Suitable for any room at home or in the office — in the hall, the bathroom, and above all it is a success in the toilet.

A front in real wood

The front is made of real oak, not veneer or a printed wood effect. It is sanded by hand, and the wood comes from a certified regional forestry project in Bavaria. The grain runs differently on every one, so no two Birdyboxes are quite alike.

Zwitscherbox or Birdybox

Both houses play the same bird concert. The Zwitscherbox plays the full two-minute recording; in the Birdybox that same recording is split into six fragments of twenty seconds, so you hear a different part each time. The Birdybox is also smaller and runs on a rechargeable battery rather than AA batteries.

1% for the planet

1% for the planet asks companies to contribute to protecting the environment. Relaxound donates 1% of its annual turnover to two environmental organisations. In Germany that is the Bergwaldprojekt, which works to preserve and care for the forest. In India, where the production facility is based, part of the donation goes to Sadhana Forest: an ecological project that refills groundwater reservoirs so that food can be grown and villagers do not have to move to the urban slums. We aim to deliver your order quickly. Orders placed on weekdays before 4 PM will be shipped the same day, unless otherwise stated. Sometimes delivery may be delayed, for example if a product is out of stock. In that case, we will inform you as soon as possible and you can cancel if you wish.

Within the Netherlands, shipping is free from €49,-, otherwise it costs €4,95. Returns cost €3,95. In Belgium and Germany, shipping is free from €69,-, otherwise it costs €4,95, and returns cost €4,95.

Returns within the Netherlands cost €3.95. You can cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason via the email from our shipping partner Sendcloud. This email contains a link to the return portal, where you can create a return label.
After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product at a PostNL point. You will receive the full order amount back, excluding any shipping costs to the customer. The product must be returned with all accessories and, if possible, in its original condition and packaging. We will refund the amount within 14 days of receiving the return shipment. For other European countries, a return fee applies, calculated via the Sendcloud link.
