Birdytimer Oak | Kitchen Timer with Birdsong | Relaxound

The Birdytimer is a kitchen timer that ends with birdsong instead of a beep. Set the time, and when it runs out you hear chirping birds for two minutes. This version has an oak front.

How it works

There is a single crown on the side. Press it, turn to the time you want, press again and the timer runs. The display counts down the minutes; in the last minute it switches to seconds. It can be set up to 360 minutes — six hours — so it also works for dough that needs to prove or meat cooking slowly.

The sound of the Zwitscherbox

What you hear is the same recording as in the Zwitscherbox, the little house Relaxound started with in 2013. The Birdytimer is a nod to that first product: the same birdhouse design, the same chirping, with a function added.

Not only for the kitchen

A timer that ends in birdsong is a gentler interruption than a beep. That is why it works beyond the hob: during yoga, on a break from work, or to tell a child that screen time is over.

An oak front

The front is 100% oak, finished by hand in a wood manufactory in Thuringia — the same one that makes the wooden fronts for the Oceanbox, the Junglebox and the Heidibox. The grain differs from one to the next.

1% for the planet

1% for the planet asks companies to contribute to protecting the environment. Relaxound donates 1% of its annual turnover to two environmental organisations. In Germany that is the Bergwaldprojekt, which works to preserve and care for the forest. In India, where the production facility is based, part of the donation goes to Sadhana Forest: an ecological project that refills groundwater reservoirs so that food can be grown and villagers do not have to move to the urban slums. We aim to deliver your order quickly. Orders placed on weekdays before 4 PM will be shipped the same day, unless otherwise stated. Sometimes delivery may be delayed, for example if a product is out of stock. In that case, we will inform you as soon as possible and you can cancel if you wish.

Within the Netherlands, shipping is free from €49,-, otherwise it costs €4,95. Returns cost €3,95. In Belgium and Germany, shipping is free from €69,-, otherwise it costs €4,95, and returns cost €4,95.

Returns within the Netherlands cost €3.95. You can cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason via the email from our shipping partner Sendcloud. This email contains a link to the return portal, where you can create a return label.
After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product at a PostNL point. You will receive the full order amount back, excluding any shipping costs to the customer. The product must be returned with all accessories and, if possible, in its original condition and packaging. We will refund the amount within 14 days of receiving the return shipment. For other European countries, a return fee applies, calculated via the Sendcloud link.
