Junglebox Maliau | Jungle Sounds | Relaxound

The Junglebox is a rectangular sound box with the sounds of a tropical rainforest that responds to movement. This version has an acrylic front illustrated with the Maliau Basin. Walk past and you hear monkeys and birds — two minutes long, and then it is quiet again.

The sound of the rainforest

A motion sensor triggers the sound. You hear monkeys, birds and insects all at once, as in a rainforest where something is always going on. The sensor also responds when the light goes on or off. Suitable for the bathroom, the toilet, the hall or a desk.

The Maliau Basin

The illustration on the front is a tribute to the Maliau Basin in the Malaysian state of Sabah, on Borneo. The area lies in a bowl-shaped crater cut off from the outside world by steep walls, which is why it stayed almost unknown for centuries — hence its name, the Lost World. Plants and animals live there that are found nowhere else.

From the same range as the Zwitscherbox

The Junglebox comes from the same range as the Zwitscherbox by Relaxound, which plays birdsong. Both use the same motion sensor. If you have several boxes at home, you can give every room a different landscape.

1% for the planet

1% for the planet asks companies to contribute to protecting the environment. Relaxound donates 1% of its annual turnover to two environmental organisations. In Germany that is the Bergwaldprojekt, which works to preserve and care for the forest. In India, where the production facility is based, part of the donation goes to Sadhana Forest: an ecological project that refills groundwater reservoirs so that food can be grown and villagers do not have to move to the urban slums. We aim to deliver your order quickly. Orders placed on weekdays before 4 PM will be shipped the same day, unless otherwise stated. Sometimes delivery may be delayed, for example if a product is out of stock. In that case, we will inform you as soon as possible and you can cancel if you wish.

Within the Netherlands, shipping is free from €49,-, otherwise it costs €4,95. Returns cost €3,95. In Belgium and Germany, shipping is free from €69,-, otherwise it costs €4,95, and returns cost €4,95.

Returns within the Netherlands cost €3.95. You can cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason via the email from our shipping partner Sendcloud. This email contains a link to the return portal, where you can create a return label.
After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product at a PostNL point. You will receive the full order amount back, excluding any shipping costs to the customer. The product must be returned with all accessories and, if possible, in its original condition and packaging. We will refund the amount within 14 days of receiving the return shipment. For other European countries, a return fee applies, calculated via the Sendcloud link.
