Remember Stickado Wooden Mikado Game | Design Game of Skill

Stickado is the German brand Remember’s take on the classic game of mikado. Fifty wooden sticks in six colours, with a wooden ring to hold them together. You play it like any mikado set, but when you are not playing you stand the bundle up and have an object that earns its place — a bouquet of coloured sticks rather than a box in a cupboard.

The wooden ring turns it into an object

That is the difference from an ordinary mikado set. You slide the beechwood ring supplied over the sticks, and the bundle then stands on its own. The sticks splay at the top, so the six colours fan out like a bouquet. On a sideboard, a bookcase or a windowsill nobody would take it for a game.

Mikado with 40 cm sticks

The sticks are 40 cm long and 8 mm thick — considerably bigger than the thin slivers of an average mikado set. That makes them easier to pick up, for children’s hands too, and the pile takes up more of the table. The game itself is unchanged: you drop the sticks onto the table in a tangled pile and take turns removing one without the others moving. If one does move, it is the next player’s turn.

Birch and beech

The sticks are birch, the ring beech. Two woods of different hardness: birch is light and springy, which suits sticks you handle often, while beech is harder and keeps the ring in shape. The colours are drawn into the wood, so they do not flake off.

Within the Netherlands, shipping is free from €49,-, otherwise it costs €4,95. Returns cost €3,95. In Belgium and Germany, shipping is free from €69,-, otherwise it costs €4,95, and returns cost €4,95.

Returns within the Netherlands cost €3.95. You can cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason via the email from our shipping partner Sendcloud. This email contains a link to the return portal, where you can create a return label.
After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product at a PostNL point. You will receive the full order amount back, excluding any shipping costs to the customer. The product must be returned with all accessories and, if possible, in its original condition and packaging. We will refund the amount within 14 days of receiving the return shipment. For other European countries, a return fee applies, calculated via the Sendcloud link.
